Hello again strangers….

I didn’t write for a few weeks as was away travelling in Japan.

I have reduced my paid subscription to £3.50 per month, so please sign up if you’d like to read about my trip….

I have been away for over 3 weeks and travelled to Tokyo, Kyoto, Okayama, Shikoku (Takamatsu / Kochi / Shimanto / Matsuyama ) and then back to the Izu peninsula.

I feel my whole life has changed. It’s such a special country; the people are so polite and the country is so clean. I love the izakaya’s (small-ish pubs), the convenience stores, the hushed tone on trains, the delicious food, the graphic design everywhere, the road workers signs and mostly, the respect for nature.
